VPCF23S1E - drivers and apps - Win 8 Pro 64bit clean install

Hello there.

I own a VAIO VPCF23S1E and it originally came with Windows 7 Home Premium preinstalled.

I noticed Sony posted a big bunch of Win 8 stuff (drivers, apps, etc) on my model's support page (www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/VPCF23S1E_B/updates) but I'm not exactly sure what to install and what not after a clean Win 8 Pro 64bit installation.

I'd appreciate a little help from someone who might have done this already. Thank you.

Hi epascaru,

Sony do not support a clean install of Windows 8 only a 'migration'.

Your model is fully supported for upgrading/migrating and I suggest you have a look at this sticky post for more detail.
