Hi @chan89,

Welcome to the community,

Sorry to hear about the game restarting. I would first suggest checking the developer's website or feedback section, this could possibly be an issue they have at the moment. You may also want to supply them with feedback regarding this type of issue so they can take action to try to rectify it.

You can run through some simple troubleshooting such as remove the app and then a reinstall.

Let us know how you get on.

That could still be related to the game, does this happen with this game only or other applications?

I see, sorry to hear that. This could possibly be related to a software problem, in this case, it may be best to backup your handset and then run through a software repair.

backup using Xperia Companion

software repair using PC Companion

Let me know if this helps.

Playing games on a mobile phone is a great way to distract from the Daily stress however in reality many games out there are nicely designed but poorly coded.

Some of them will fulfill buffers and won't release ram from time to time, they may also provoke heat as graphic intensive games may use lot of cpu/gpu. If the device run out of memory the OS will invoke an OOM - out of memory - and kill a donor process or app. If the system kill a process or app related to the same Game or app is consuming memory it can provoke a kernel panic hence the hang and the reboot.

If while your phone is hanging and rebooting you feel the back of the device hot, the phone may have just hang and restart to avoid overheating and hardware damage.

A software repair may help as it will restore the device to its factory defaults, that may temporarily fix the issue but the more apps you add, the more apps are running concurrently, the more the issue will likely re-occur.

What phone do you have anyway? Is it the Xperia X or is it a variant?

i check the heat of the phone when it restart, it's normal, no heat at all, i dont know is it the back cover material can block the heat or is it the cpu is not boosting when i play the games.
