Hi @Sonya10, as @alexdon mentions it does sound like you are referring to the VoLTE icon, does it look like this? volte icon.png

To summarize what VoLTE is, it is the abbreviation of "Voice over LTE" and offers the possibility to voice call using the LTE/4G mobile network. The benefits of VoLTE include better voice quality, faster call setup, remaining in the 4G network during voice calls and also allowing you to use the 4G data services while simultaneously making and receiving calls.

Let me know if that helps! If you found it useful, feel free to kudo my post and mark it as the solution so that other users facing the same concerns may find the reply as well! Slightly_smiling_Face

But you can already use LTE data services while making calls over cell network. 😊. How does one chose to use VoLTE?

Well, not quite. You may have an LTE connection active in your device, but if you receive or place a call without having VoLTE activated for your device then your device will switch networks to for example 3G during the call.

If your device has VoLTE pushed to its software, then you may enable the option under Settings > More > Mobile networks > Enable VoLTE.
