Hi - can anyone please tell me if there is a repeat text alert function on my new Experia E1? I'm a newbie and this is my first smartphone. Many thanks.

As long as you don't check the message the notification LED will continue to flash but you can install another app such as:

It seems the option is not there but you could add a longer notification sound.
