Auto rotate not working (Sony Xperia z5 Premium)

Didn't think I would be back so fast, but I have another issue that suddenly started happening.

Checking to see if anyone else has this issue, or if there's a fix,or even if it's a known problem.

My auto-rotate stopped working. Was working fine the last 24 hours, give or take. Which is the duration of how long I've had the device.

I checked all the settings, and googled around, so I restarted my phone, now it works again.

Didn't know about the diagnostic tool until after I rebooted the device and it started working again.

If it stops working, I'll definitely run diagnostics.

But until then; known issue? Anyone else experience the same thing? A permanent fix?

Hello,
i have a Xperia Z5 and im facing the issues with the auto rotate, the only way to fix it is to reboot the phone. I tried everything and nothing works. I went to diagnostics menu a tried the gyroscope test and failed. I thought the problem was with the camera app and I cleared the cache and data and everything worked fine for a few days and today started with the issue. Please let me know how to fix this cause is annoying

I just hit the phone hard along the edge of my open hand. That works for me
