C6902 Not ringing on incoming calls

I have recently upgraded my mobile to 5.1.1 . C6902 INDIA version. And my mobile is not ringing whenever I receive a call. 

I tried restart. after restart the phone rings for the first time. and it rings 5 sec for the second call and it never rings for all other calls. 

This happens like a cycle... restart.. first call... second calll... no ringtone... again restart... first call... second calll... no ringtone...

I have tried resetting app preferences. no use.

Not expecting this from a flagship phone.

Same problem here...updated yesterday, and since then the phone has stopped ringing...tried changing the ring tone from default to audio file etc but no luck. Phone is vibrating but no ringing from speakers.

I don't know is sony listening to us. The phone is meant for to make and receive calls. even the My nokia 1100 doing this flawlessly.

The sole purpose of the phone is getting buried here. This is why sony is making loss nowadays. Words of mouth is more powerful than all other ads and marketings. I wont let any of my friends buying sony again.

I dont expect a immediate fix, but atleast a acknowledgement. Irritaited to a flagship level.

I think there is something with "Smart Connect" app, I had same problem when I enabled Music on the go option in that but after disabling it, ringer is functioning normally.. Have you enabled any option in Smart Connect app? If yes try disabling it and then observe.

i turned event off on smart connect and everthing works fine.

the alarm and ringing are all back now.
