C6902 Not ringing on incoming calls

I have recently upgraded my mobile to 5.1.1 . C6902 INDIA version. And my mobile is not ringing whenever I receive a call. 

I tried restart. after restart the phone rings for the first time. and it rings 5 sec for the second call and it never rings for all other calls. 

This happens like a cycle... restart.. first call... second calll... no ringtone... again restart... first call... second calll... no ringtone...

I have tried resetting app preferences. no use.

Not expecting this from a flagship phone.

go into developer options and disable the setting "awsumplayer" Nuplayer" seems to fix any sound related issues

Hi,

During the day I can look at the phone and suddenly have missed calls. When I check the volume, it`s off. Nothing happens when I try to increase volume. When I go in settings to check there, the ringtone volume is grey and not possible to adjust. I can only decrease so the vibrating function is enabled.

I have tried everything that everyone on this topic has suggested, but nothing helps. When I reboot the phone, it works for a while before it suddenly is back to the same problem.

factory reset has been done 3 times, but it does not help.

So hope someone can help me, It is very frustrating.

It doesnt fix anything for some of us.

Factory reset Z1, and problem still exists. Ran diagnostics and it failed for Ear Proximity, Vibration, and Accelerometer which all use vibration features.

Went into the developer settings and "Use AwesomePlayer (deprecated)" setting was already disabled, tested it again with this setting both enabled and disabled with no change.

Went into the Apps settings menu, force stopped, then disabled "Smart Connect". Back in diagnostics retested it and all worked. At this time I haven't tested the ringing on incomming calls problem, but for those of us who dont even have vibration for incoming calls, this may provide some form of improvement.

Having same problem!!!!  The phone doesnt ring in the ringing mode but only vibrates!!! 

After the restart, the first call will ring. Then after that. only  only Vibrationnnnn!!! 

We are missing so many callss!! Sony support team!!! please Help!!!!!
