Help! Please. Vanished apps?

Hi

Where my apps should be I have 25 Blue Squares with white border and then to the top right of the square a little red circle with white border with what looks like a white picture of an sd card. I can't delete them. Any ideas?!

Did you previously move those apps into SD card? And did you remove or format your current SD card?

Solution is to clear data for xperia home, it will remove all those unknown apps and you need to download them again.

After today's android phone update, a lot of apps were missing from each screen. This happens on my Z3 and my wife's Z3 compact. We have just been adding them back. Not sure what the update was for, it was an Xperia update but showed updating android.

Just done a software update and half my apps have gone. Anyone know how to solve this as it won't let me download them from play store again either. Very frustrating.

My z3 updated too 5.1.1 for the second time but now when I turn phone off when I turn it back on all the apps saved on memory card are no longer on the home screen anyone any ideas why?

That's a faulty SD card, also, do you have a clean master or taskiller? If you update any app that was on the SD card, it'll be moved to the internal storage, that's an android /Google issue
