Lockscreen, small apps and homescreen crash

Sometimes, my lockscreen doesn't work, when i press the powerbutton i'm Just directly in my homescreen.

When my lockscreen doesn't work my small apps don't work to.

And Sometimes my homescreen is Just Black and when i try things like Google now(swyping up from home button) while my home screen is Black it only shows the animation and then turns black again.

When this happens i can't door any thing, please help!

@ThijsHof

Do you experience the same while on safe mode? if you don't then it's a third party app acting up. Also have you disable any app or service?

@uliwooly It only happens sometimes trying if It doesn't happen in safe mode wil be a bit hard.

Thanks for your response

@ThijsHof

You could repair the phone with PCC and that should solve the issue

PC Companion (PCC)

Bridge (for Mac)

Here's how to run the repair on PC Companion:

2. Phone Software Update.
3. Start.
4. Repair Phone
5. Continue
6. Accept data removal
7. Next
8. Wait for prepare
9. Select Phone
10. Follow the connection steps

And Bridge for Mac:
1. Launch Bridge for MAC without the handset connected.
2. On the Main Window select "Xperia > Repair Xperia Device".
3. Ensure the phone is charged and select "Ok" in the following window.
4. Select Continue on the following page.
5. Wait until the initialising step is finished the continue as below.
6 . Select your model of phone from the list that appears
7. Follow the connection steps that appear, ensuring that you are holding the relevant button down before during and after the connection phase until the update/repair begins.

Hi,
Will i lose any data?

Hi @ThijsHof,

The software repair will remove all data stored in the phone so don't forget to make a backup in PC Companion before you try the software repair. You can do a backup using the Backup & Restore option in PC Companion.
