Missed call icon doesn't clear

Twice today I have had missed calls, the missed call icon appears in the notification tray but dones't clear when I list my call log. Pulling the notification tray down, I have a big blank notification that I can't clear. Slightly annoying

Hi

I am struggling with this, I followed the instructions on my Xperia compact but couldn't see the trash icon to delete the entry. I switched the phone off and its still there when I restarted.

Pls help 😞

I have same issue. I loathe this phone. But 2 workplaces have made me have one. Cos its cheap...noone voluntarily buys one then keeps it.

Full of bugs n poor design.

I bet most users dont feedback re bugs cos its a pain 'registering' to do so.

I have only done so because of your claim low users exp bug.

Awful phone.

Try drop calling from another phone or getting someone else to do it. Then clear the missed call notification from the top of the screen. Worked for me.

I get this on an my Xperia L3, and have for several weeks, the missed  call notification bubble remains on the home screen call icon.

Since then the phone has been re-started on several occasions, as I get reminded to do this on a weekly basis. And a new software update has also been applied. Still does not clear this issue, AS THIS ALERT BUBBLE IS STILL THERE.

I have done everything possible including clearing call logs (which I didn't and don't want to have to do).
Can anyone advise how and when this is going to be finally retified, as per this thread it seems to have been going on for years?!?!?
