Sending the device through a Network carrier, will generally hold the same results as going through Sony Mobile directly, as it is likely the network carrier will send the device to an authorised/Sony Mobile repair agent
I'm sorry to hear that but this is a user based forum, you will have to contact them again and request a vacuum test and for them to inspect the phone, again.
Anytime, but it'll be hard to find someone with the same issue as each problem its different.
