If safe mode doesn't work then repair your phone with PCC

Does the problem happens all the time or only when on flat surfaces?

No it's not all the time some times

Can you specify "some times"? Maybe during oveheating or something?

What type of touch problem? Fail to register touch or wrong register of touch?

Some time if I was doing some things on phone texting or i want to see the navigation the screen just stop working no touch few moments and back to normal

So as far as i see,this might be a software related issue.

So first,just like uliwooly said,make a backup and perform a Software Repair at PC Companion.

If that doesn't solve it then bring it to your local Sony Xperia Center.
