The NVIDIA® GeForce® 9300M GS GPU in the LN1M is a mobile graphics chip made for laptop computers.
Sadly, it is soldered into the main board and is uneconomical to replace.
It is a sign of the times that most computers these days can really only have RAM and Hard Disc that can be easily upgraded.

Thanks for the quick reply, when you say uneconomical are you talking just buy a new computer? I can't believe we spent over a £1000 on a piece of kit we can't upgrade
In common with laptops and all-in-one computers, graphics cards are not upgradable these days. Only Tower Systems with separate monitors have PCI Slots that take a full sized graphics card. Dedicated Gaming Computers are nearly always of this design.
Your Vaio is as powerful as most laptops produced today but is not designed for hardcore gaming. All you can do is to make sure the latest graphics driver is installed.
