Hello.
My device is not charging magnetic.
Screen freezes when I inserted the magnetic charging cable.
I need to make a quick start to open my device.
How do I charge Please help.
Thanks...
Magnetic chargin cables are not official, sometimes they act weirdly even if they were working before. Try anither cable or official dock better to make sure your magnetic charging port is not defective. Meanwhile use USB charging if you have no access to magnetic ones.
Hi
I had some issues with mine but replaced cable now ok .
But i have always worried about the polarity of these magnetic charger cabels ?
and which way round you put them and it may be the rectifyer/convertor in the phone that packs up as the must have some polartiy protection ?
If they were designed correctly, they will not fit into the port unless they were in the correct orientation. If you looks closer you'll see that one pole is shaped differently from the other, this prevents attaching them in the wrong way.
If your cable fits both ways then it's a fake one and it will harm your device.
Thanks for the Answer
Thats something i never new checked the cable and one pin is in a round insert the other is oval
No problem, glad I could help.
maybe the next bug with lollipop ?

It seems to be to more than the Z1C's - /t5/Xperia-Z2/Lollipop-charging-bug/td-p/965384
I've got this charging problem with my Z1C - it won't charge at all using the genuine Sony dock I have, it wont charge past 90% if using the charger that came with it if it's plugged into the USB port.
If it's turned on when I try charging it, the screen flashes on an off with the LED and charging symbol also flashing on an off.
Eventually it comes up with a message saying it's using more power than the charger can supply!
If it's turned off when charging (still doesn't work via the dock), it gets to 90% again, but then if it's left will start dropping back down again to around 70% overnight - again with the LED flashing.
If it gets to 90% and is unplugged, left for a few seconds and plugged back in it'll start charging again, by about 1%.
By repeating this over and over again I've managed to get it to 95%, then got fed up!
